Date Night: Gavin & Mom

I started having the boys follow a chore chart so I could keep them busy helping me out around the house & to teach them responsibility. There is a point system so depending on how many points they earn from doing their chores they get certain rewards to choose from. They both did a great job the first week & were very excited to pick their reward. Liam the little cutie, chose the $5 bill. He put all of it in his piggy bank except for .25 cents. He wanted to buy himself a gumball. :)

Gavin on the other hand chose to have a date night with Mom. :) I was really excited to have some one on one time with him. We don't get to do that often so this was going to be a really fun night.

After dinner at home we got all ready in our 'date clothes' as he put it & were ready to go on our date. I took Gavin to his favorite place, the Game Room. This kid turns into hyper maniac in arcades so I had to keep reminding him that he was on a date & to not leave me behind. haha!

 After blowing through our game card we hit the prize counter to cash in our tickets. He was NOT ready to go home & neither was I. So we decided to get some yummy frozen yogurt to finish off our date.

 After I snapped his pic he insisted on taking one of me too. 

 Posing out on the water fountain. Seriously he cracks me up! And there's no better way to capture the fun we had then by getting pictures in the photo booth. Or so you'd think. We ran out of credits for the actual booth so I just downloaded a photobooth app on my phone & we took our own outside. :) It was a lot of fun pulling all sorts of faces with this cute kid.

 I just love this boy! He is so handsome, kind, fun & outgoing. He was the perfect date for this momma!
