Today was a fun day. We started out the morning with some friends at this really cool water park, Tropical Splash. I had no idea it even existed. The boys had a ball & we will most definitely be coming back.
Mason was really cute & took Liam down the slides a few times until he was comfortable going alone.
I joked with these boys that they just made a 'Gavin Sandwich' because both Owen's were on the ends. Haha! They were pretty amused, but also had that 'you're lame' look on their faces. :)
Me getting in some good quality snuggle time with lil baby Dempsey. It's going to be so sad not being able to see him change & grow in person once the Rhodes are gone. :(
Nothing better then taking a break to warm up on the hot concrete. Every time I see the kids do this it takes me back to my childhood doing the same thing. Ahhh.
This sweet girl is Cordelia. She & Gavin are very fond of each other as of late. In fact, he told me he wanted to marry her. Which I am absolutely okay with. :) I just love lil crushes.
For dinner tonight we met up at Fort Lauderdale Beach to bbq with friends. It was a little going away/last dinner at the beach for the Rhodes family. They are leaving for Utah for a scheduled trip/race, but then will be leaving their kiddos there because Tyler got a new job in Draper, Utah & starts the first part of July. Crazy how fast the decision was made & how soon they have to move. Tyler & Brittany will come back to pack up & move their stuff. So thankfully this wasn't the last time I got to see her.
The kids love playing on the beach. Here they are in a good ol game of keep away. :)
{Me, Lauren, Brittany, Meesa & Michele}
Brittany & Kathy were about to get a cute picture snapped as I was walking by so I thought I'd take the chance to give a nice photo bomb. Well it kinda back fired because just as Tyler was about to take it, Kathy had to fix her hair just as I was bombin. Haha!
I took the boys in for a dip in the ocean & it was perfection! Seriously felt like bath water. I really do love being so close to the beach & am going to miss it like crazy when we move away.
Aunt Laura cuddling with Liam keeping him warm.
The mommies & a few kiddos sneaking in.
Such a great night enjoying the company of friends. We sure love the Rhodes & the friendship we've built with them over the last two years will be forever cherished. And thankfully they'll be in Utah so we can visit when we come into town. :)
