With Gavin finishing up school on a Wednesday we decided it was the perfect time to celebrate the end of the school year & go finish up our Disney passes. So we hit the road on Thursday & drove up to Orlando. We had booked our stay using Hotwire.com. Love that by the way. We scored big time by getting a 4-star resort for only $75/night. Woot woot! It was super close to the parks, had a great pool area & the room was great.
{Magic Kingdom}
We spent Friday in the Magic Kingdom. We had a great time & everything went very smoothly as far as riding all the rides we wanted to & avoiding the long lines. The boys did great & are beginning to be quite the good travelers.
Buzz Lightyear: Our favorite ride. We got to ride it a couple times too.
Giving Buzz some love.
Well at least Mom & Dad were ready for the picture. Haha!
We went & did an experience that we've never done before. We went to the Enchanted Tales with Belle. I figured it was a girl thing, but my friends told me that the boys would love it. There are many boy parts & in fact one lucky kid gets to be the Beast if they have the most ferocious roar. I was prepping Gavin that if he roars the loudest when they ask, he may get to be the beast. He was doing some good practicing. :)
And the practicing paid off because he was selected to play the part of the Beast. Liam was chosen for Chip & even Doug got a part too. He was one good looking knight. :)
At the end of the enactment Belle asked the Beast to dance with her. Gavin was a little shy about it, but still did it. It was the cutest thing ever!
Riding Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. He was a little nervous can you tell?
I freaking LOVE this shot of Gavin! Full on scream right there. Awesomeness.
All soaked & loving it. Splash Mountain is still Gavin's favorite ride.
Keeping Liam entertained while Dad & Gavin are on the big ride was no easy task. He was ticked that he got left behind. Thank goodness there was this fun little play area for such children.
Tried to get another cute family shot, but the sun was soooo bright this was the best we could get.
Before leaving the park for our afternoon break we watched the new Festival of Fantasy parade. It was wonderful. By far the best parade I've seen. The floats, costumes & music were spectacular!
We went back to the hotel & everyone took naps for a couple hours. We headed back to Magic Kingdom for some night time fun.
I really like this picture of my boys. Such a fun shot.
Gavin & I were great riding partners. He is such a blast to hang out with.
Family selfie while watching the fire works. I sure am one lucky girl to have these guys in my life.
This shot kinda reminds me of Mickey Mouse with one ear being a puff of smoke.
Liam had only one request that evening & it was to ride the carousel. We missed it before the fireworks so we hurried & jumped in line right after the show for one last spin before heading back to bed.
And of course I didn't get a good shot of the boy who requested the ride, but Gavin was up for posing. :)
{Animal Kingdom}
Saturday we went to the Animal Kingdom. There isn't as much to do there as there as far as rides go, but we all had a fun seeing the animals & the shows.
Kali River Rapids was a success. Liam was way mad that he was barely not tall enough. Poor kid missed out on a lot here at Animal Kingdom. :(
Our favorite thing to do at Animal Kingdom is take the Safari Ride. Such beautiful animals in a more open habitat versus the typical zoo.
Cute Safari explorers.
We like Dino Land. I was excited to take Gavin to Dinosaur. We've never been to it, but as we were waiting in line it closed down for maintenance. Boo!
The bird show is a lot of fun & we love watching all the cool tricks the birds can do.
It took some major convincing to get Gavin to go in to It's Tough To Be A Bug. He remembered every other experience & how much he hated it. Not a big fan of surprises with water being sprayed, black out moments or giant spiders. Haha! But we were mean & made him go anyway. We sat father back this time & it made all the difference. He ended up really liking it. Cutest lil bugs I've ever seen!
My favorite picture of the day.
And it's not a successful trip to Disney if you don't get to see these two. We sure love Mickey & Minnie!

We left the park in the late afternoon & headed back to the hotel for naps. After naps we went swimming at the amazing pool & had pizza for dinner. The boys loved the water slide!
There was a toddler splash area that was wonderful for the boys to play in. They had way too much fun splashing around.
I thought this little moment I captured was adorable. He wasn't mad or upset, but just taking it easy & people watching. Too cute.
After we ate pizza we went to our room to change out of our wet suits & then headed back to the pool. Not to swim though, but to watch Frozen poolside on a jumbo blow up screen. The boys thought it was pretty darn cool. So did I actually. I loved watching a movie under the stars with my little family.
After a good nights sleep we decided to get a late check out & utilize the great pool again Sunday morning before we left.
Warming up in the hot tub with Dad.
After checking out we grabbed some snacks & lunch & went over to see Joslyn & James & their girls. They just moved up to Orlando like 4 days prior to our little visit. It was so fun seeing their new house & where they'll be spending the next couple years. We already miss them sooo much!
The kids played great together & us adults got in good conversation. Always a plus. :)
Miss Ella is quite the fashionista & diva. I said something to her about a 'selfie' & she didn't know what that was. I was shocked. So we had a quick little lesson the matter. Haha! But the best part of this picture is the photo bomb by Everette. Love these girls.
Such a cute picture of our little ones.
And this one not so much a cute picture, but I'm glad I got a good squeeze in with Jos. She's been a great friend & I miss her lots.
We finally got on the road around 2ish & within minutes the boys crashed. I love that they have their stuffed animals to cozy up with. Such sweet boys that were absolutely fabulous on this trip. Kinda sad that this was our last trip to Disney World. But we've had a good 4 visits in the 2 years we've been here so I'd say they're pretty lucky kiddos.

Ummmm holy amazing trip, Batman!!!' I mean seriously, that all looked PERFECT. I'm way jealous! And I can't believe that resort was only $75 a night!!! Disney world seems like the way to go for sure! I love that picture of the boys under the pennant banners as well!
