Weekend with Beary

Gavin's preschool class has a friend named Beary. Beary gets to go home with the kids on the weekends & journal about his experience with each child. Gavin was looking forward to his turn with Beary for a very long time. So when the day arrived that we got to take Beary home with us, let's just say he was beyond excited. :) 

Gavin showed Beary around the house & then it was time to take a nap. They had to build up their energy because as soon as Dad got home, they were going to go camping with the scouts. And I knew it would be a late night for them. Beary made it much easier on momma here to get this kid to sleep. :)

Gavin & Beary were thrilled to be camping with the big boys. They loved watching the fire & roasting hot dogs & s'mores.

Gavin & one of the other little boys stayed up until 10:30PM just chatting away. Doug said it was pretty funny to listen to. And they finally crashed.

When they got back from camping we decided it was a good idea to bake some cookies with Beary since that is one of Gavin's favorite things to do with his mom.

But eating them is way better!

After a long-fun weekend we finished our last night with Beary by reading lots of bed time stories.

I think it's safe to say that our friend Beary had a fabulous time staying at our house. Gavin can't wait to have him again!
