Here are the randoms of the month:
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays! Had fun getting out all the decorations.
What's is this? That's what I thought one afternoon as I walked past Gavin at the counter drawing. So I asked him. And he immediately told me, "I tried to draw an elephant, but it didn't work." PHEW!!! I was dying inside laughing & couldn't resist taking a picture to show Doug. This is definitely a keeper.
Sometimes my kids surprise me & actually enjoy eating healthy things. For lunch one day I made myself some cucumber sliders & Liam asked for one. And he ate the whole thing. :)
Gavin finished up his last session of swim lessons. He's been in them for a full year now & has improved sooo much. We are getting ready for soccer to start & we can't afford to have him in more then one activity at a time. I'm just glad he is now water safe & has learned the swimming strokes.
One afternoon Gavin said, "Let's cuddle with Liam, Mom!" Uh, heck yes! I was on that in about .2 seconds. It looks like Liam isn't liking it, but he was. They were both in the middle of calling out something. I can't remember.
Liam is into the fridge all day long. Sometimes I bungee cord it shut to keep him out. Must have forgotten this day. At least he chose something healthy right?

One Saturday afternoon at the last minute I decided to hit up the movies solo. I've never done it before & needed some alone time. Doug was getting ready to leave town for 4 days & I knew I'd be worn out by the end of it. So I got some solitude in prior. When I walked into the theater it was completely empty. I had the place to myself. Not so bad doing it solo when there's no one else there to think you're a weirdo. I saw the new Romeo & Juliet. It was wonderful. My favorite version yet. My sis & her friend ended up joining me after it started. So I'll have to try the real solo thing another time. :)
On the drive home on the freeway you can see the Fort Lauderdale Temple. It is still in the process of being completed. Such a beautiful building that I cannot wait for to open. It will be so nice to have one so close to us that we can frequently visit.
Made some homemade Olive Garden Zuppa Toscana & salad. Yum!
One evening we met our friends Joslyn & James & their girls at the splash pad at Hollywood beach for some dinner & play.
The sky was beautiful. Made me appreciate the beauty that surrounds us. I've been really missing the typical fall weather lately & it just isn't cooling down here in Florida. But on a night like this, I'm happy to say I'm content with my surroundings.
Liam & Ella
Everette
Dad's version of the bjorn. Liam isn't so sure. Haha!
Trying on silly costumes at Party City
Gavin threw a frisbee up on our neighbors roof. So Doug made him get it. He was fine going up, but not so fine with coming down. I couldn't resist getting it on film.
One morning I was cleaning in the kitchen & I heard Liam turn on the radio in Gavin's room. It wasn't for a few minutes that I realized he was actually singing the words to the song ROAR by Katy Perry. I sneaked up on him as to not distract him or have him stop. This is what I saw. So freaking cute!
We had a beach day that was quite bit chillier than usual. Yes, it was still 75 degrees, but it was breezy. We have most definitely acclimated over the past year of living here that's for sure. One of the cute moms brought donut holes & hot chocolate!
My attempt at spooky Halloween nails. Boo!
