The Shaw Family

Doug & I were married on October 6, 2005 in the Salt Lake Temple. We are currently living in the Dallas, Texas area. We have two sons, Gavin Douglas born September 18, 2009 & Liam Robert born October 14, 2011. We are so happy to be a family of four & love our boys so much! It is always one adventure after another in this house.

Spooky Activities

Young At Art Museum Halloween Party

Ward Trunk or Treat

Liam refused to wear his actual Halloween costume, Mike Wazowski. He opted for being a cowboy instead. Which I was ok with because he let me put a stache on him. Haha!

The Kreiger kids, Devin & Zachary joined us for the treat collecting.

And I couldn't resist taking a picture of little Evelyn Trockel dressed up in her Cat Woman costume. Complete with corset too! Too cute.

Lorenzo was Evil Kenevil and kindly gave Liam a ride around the parking lot on his motorcycle.

Family Home Evening - Carving pumpkins
We carved our pumpkins the Monday before Halloween. As I'm sure every family in America did as well. But regardless of who was doing the same thing, we had a great time with our little family. We listened to spooky music while carving away.

Gavin had a lot of fun carving his pumpkin this year.

Love how they look with their candles lit in the dark. So SPOOKY!

Craft Group
Joslyn hosted the Halloween craft group again this year. Her yard is so perfect for having all the littles run around & play. They read a story about pumpkins.

There were lots of yummy & cute treats. Mummy juice boxes, cupcakes, jack o lantern clementines & I made this yummy pumpkin dip.

The kids went on a ghost hunt. (suckers wrapped in tissue)

Liam was content when he found one.

Gavin wasn't content until he had pretty much all of them. Haha!

13 of the kids that were there. There were a few more that didn't make the picture. Wowza we have a lot of kiddos! They sure looked cute in their costumes. My favorite is little Nacho Libre on the left. I couldn't help but giggle every time he ran by me. Oh, and I must say that Liam was finally ok with wearing his actual costume that day. :)

We sure had a LOT of Halloween activities this month & I still haven't even gotten to October 31st yet.
