Liam Turns 2 Years Old!

Is my baby really two years old?!?! And even though he is becoming such a big boy toddler, he will always remain my baby. It makes me so happy that he still wears diapers & sleeps in his crib & uses his binki cuz it's keeping him 'baby' to me. Is that sooo bad of me? Oh well.

It really does seem like not that long ago that he was born & we got to meet each other for the first time. Such a sweet baby. The love I had for him was instant. I was thrilled he joined our family!

I have to admit that I was soooo nervous to have a second child. I couldn't always handle the one I already had. But knowing it was another boy & thinking ahead to how wonderful their relationship could be brought me happiness.

And in this past year, he & Gavin really have started developing a great friendship with one another. Sure there is the fighting & what not, but overall, they love each other dearly. Gavin has such great patience with Liam & Liam just wants to copycat Gavin in EVERYTHING! (Good & Bad) *Sigh* I just love watching these two together.

Liam is such a cheerful & fun little guy. He really is quite the ham & always keeps us laughing.

Liam's 2 year stats:

Weight: 30lbs (63%)

Height: 36 inches (97%)

*He takes one nap a day for either 1 1/2-3 hours

*Wakes up very happy & talking to himself

*Uses the potty occasionally

*Has his binki's only at nap & bed time

*LOVES to sing & dance

*Knows his ABC's & can count to 10

*Has a shoe fetish

*Obsessed with his big brother

*Gives the best hugs & snuggles

*Has had the tenancy to bite his big brother (working on that)

*Asks "WHY?" all day long

*Says his own prayers

*Loves nursery & playing with friends

*Likes to say, "Stop it, mama!"

*Keeps us smiling & laughing all day long

On the morning of Liam's birthday he came out of his room to the traditional mess that he had to run through. However with the lights on he wasn't too interested as it was, "bite" (bright) So the pictures were actually taken after breakfast.

Birthday waffles! He loved wearing his birthday hat too. So stinkin cute!

After dropping off Gavin to school we spent the day running around together. We stopped at Chick Fil A for lunch. His favorite place for sure! He loves chicken & fries.

The manager that helped us with our table found out it was his birthday & returned giving Liam a Birthday Cow. So cute & nice.

We had to make a quick stop at costco. And if you didn't know this, the bakery will give you a cookie if you simply ask. Love!

That evening once dad got home from school we had birthday dinner & cake with ice cream & presents. We invited Liam's favorite family, the Trockel's over to join us.
