Annual Adult Halloween Party

Laura decided to host her adult Halloween Party again this year. Yipee! She decided that it would be more spacious to use the primary room at the church vs her home. So we spent the afternoon decorating & setting up to try & disguise the fact that it was indeed the primary room. Haha! We had a lot of fun planning & putting this party together. She did a great job! 

                    

We made ghosts out of balloons & cheese cloth. These were my favorite part of the decor. Boo!

Love her change dispenser. And Doug was pretty proud of his tooth #3 that he carved out of Styrofoam. He was testing people all night asking them if they knew which tooth it was. Haha!

Don was in Doug's dental class up in Buffalo. He & his wife are going on a cruise that leaves from Ft. Lauderdale. So we got to have them stay with us for the night. And lucky for them it fell on the night of this party. They were good sports about coming & dressing up.

Everyone looked great! I just love it when people actually get into it & put forth effort to their costumes. Which everyone did for sure! Then we played some games. Everyone got some serious laughs.

CHUBBY GHOST

As to not have this game last forever we decided to put 5 ghost in your mouth at a time. People were dropping like flies. Or gagging. However you want to say it.

I typically have the WORST gag reflex in the world. But I've been playing this game since I was a child. So I have my methods. 

It came down to me & Jeff. I was about to lose it & decided to throw in some dramatic actions that got him laughing. And that was the end of it. He lost it all.....And I WON!!! And as you can see, my one & only Tommy was dang proud of his trailer trash woman! :)

My all time favorite couples game. We originally found this gem on AFV a couple years ago. I think what I love most about it is watching everyone's expressions once they realize what they have to do in front of each other. Haha!

 This is the only thing about the party that adapts the 'ADULT' part into it. Haha!

And what's with me staying in character?! You put a pillow in your belly & you go into auto mode of being prego. Haha!

 I was in charge of making the prizes for the costume contest. It has become tradition to have homemade caramel, chocolate covered apples. Stephanie & I did this together back in Buffalo every year. It brought back lots of memories. Just wish she was here to do it with me. I think they turned out perfect! I didn't get a picture of the finished & wrapped ones, but oh well. Everyone loved them!
