My friend Joslyn invited us to the Funderdome one morning as she found a killer coupon that got us in for only $5/per family. It would have been $25 per family without her deal. Yikes! Why do places like this charge so much? I don't think we will be returning unless we get another awesome deal. It was fun going somewhere new & letting the kids run around, but it was definitely not worth the price they do charge.
The boys sitting in what I'm guessing is the 'dome' part of Funderdome? :) They did have a rock climbing wall that Gavin was really excited about. He didn't make it up very far before giving up & deciding he was all done. They had a toddler zone which was great for the smaller kids so they don't get run over by the big kids. However, my son tends to do some running over himself. haha!

We were out & about running errands when my sister brought it to my attention that it was National Donut Day. So we just haaaad to stop by Dunkin Donuts to participate in such an occasion.
These boys love their donuts about as much as their momma does. Yum!
Going in for the kill.
Gotta love that face & that nice stream of milky drool. Yuck!
That evening at the Young At Art Museum they were having a special members only Pajama Party. At the party they were giving us a special preview of their new exhibit: Where The Wild Things Are. Gavin could not have been more thrilled about going out somewhere in his jammies. Doug wasn't able to join us so I just took the boys & met up with some friends. It was really fun. They had crafts, treats & of coarse the new exhibit to play in/on/around.
Gavin standing next to Max. We had borrowed this book from the library just the week prior so the story was very fresh in Gavin's mind. Made it an even better experience.
My scary little Wild Thing
Liam was obsessed with driving the boat.
At the end they had a reading of the story that was fun to sit through. Well for the kids anyways. I wasn't a big fan of how the reader chose to tell the story. And since it was all about me right?
We had such a fun mommy & sons date.
