Liam - 18 Months

I cannot believe my baby is 18 months old! He is getting so big & is losing his baby look more & more each day. Liam is such a ham & I cannot get enough of this sweet boy. Here are his stats:

Height: (80th %)

Weight: 26 lbs

Liam is a lot bigger than Gavin was at this age. A lot taller mostly. It will be interesting to see the comparison as he gets older. 

Some things about Liam at this age:

* He still mostly takes 2 naps, but we are finally getting closer to the 1 nap

* Goes to bed around 8 & sleeps til 7:30/8:00

* He loves to jibber jabber & does it non stop

* He is starting to say words more clearly & putting a couple words together like

* This boy loves to sing & always bursts out in song when we are in the car. He also loves to dance & feels the rhythm anyplace, anywhere. We will be in the store & if he hears the music he'll start moving in his stroller or the cart back & forth getting his groove on.

* Is getting very picky with eating. Blah. Sometimes he wants help, sometimes he doesn't. Sometimes he has to use a fork, other times his hands. He wants it cut up one day & the next he wants it whole. Or sometimes he'll scarf one thing one meal & another day he flat out refuses to eat. Needless to say, it drives me crazy!

* He loves Mickey Mouse & Barney. Well pretty much anything Disney Junior really.

*He still uses the binki, but mostly for naps, bedtime & when he's ornery.

* He is a SCREAMER! The volume this small child can create is unreal. It's so startling & ear ringing & he loves to do it. Oh I wish I could make it stop. haha! 

* He loves to play with Gavin. They have always gotten along really well & Gavin is very patient with Liam.

*He loves books & would read them all day long. Or have me read to him in fact. 

*He is much more of a mommy's boy than Gavin ever was. It makes me smile to see it. But he still has a hard time if Doug ever leaves the room.

* He's out of the high chair in sitting at the table with the rest of us.

*He is now in Nursery & is doing pretty well. He only loses it when the other kids scream/cry or when they change from singing to snack or whatever. He doesn't handle change well. Haha!

* He is quite the expressionist of faces. He gives a pretty good scowl, but a second later is melting your heart with the cheesiest of grins.

 First meal at the big table with the rest of us. He loves being more apart of the family now. 

 

 

We sure love our Liam!
