No I'm not pregnant! :) But we did add another child to the family for a couple days. Our friends were going out of town & asked us to watch their daughter Hadley. We were more than thrilled to have this sweet little girl. Gavin was beyond excited to have a playmate all day long everyday! It didn't take her long to adjust to not having mom & dad around either. These two kept me BUSY! I definitely got a glimpse as to what it would be like to have twins & oh my...
A little coloring time. Followed by a LOT of running around time. These two played very well together & very hard. At one point I think they spent like 15 minutes just chasing each other around the island. I don't know how little kids can just go, go, go without crashing.
Bath time was WAY more fun with a friend!
And we just had to go to McDonalds for happy meals. They thought they were pretty funny putting their boxes on like hats. :)
My sister's friend Kimmi was in town visiting so we had to do something fun. We finally made it out to the everglades to take an air boat tour. The kids were really excited about seeing alligators.
Gavin & Hadley waiting to get on the boat.
It's kind of hard to see, but in the center of the photo are a bunch of black vultures. There were a ton of them just hanging out. Kind of creepy.
We saw a couple alligators & they swam right up to the boat. It was really cool!

After the tour we got to see a gator show where they show you different holds that they use to tie up a gator when one is caught.
She is one tough chick in my book that's for sure.
Here she is holding the jaw shut with only her chin. This way she can use both hands to tie a rope around his snout. CRAZY!!!

How fun for Gavin to have a permanent playmate for a couple days! It's amazing how adding just one more really creates so much more work sometimes!
I can't believe the way that girl is holding that alligator!! Crazy!! Fun outing!
Look at you Superwoman! 2 kids the same age would be exhausting...but I think you did it right by getting out of the house some of the time!
Ok seriously though Rach... I am really wishing I lived in Florida everytime I see your blog! You are getting to do such awesome stuff! The EVerglades looked amazing! I better get to planning my trip out.
P.S. I need a haircut! When can I come in? hahah jk
Looks like Gavin really enjoyed having a pal his own age to hang around with all day! The pictures of the everglades are terrific and looks like everyone enjoyed it except maybe Liam - he looked a little unhappy!
