Looking back on the month of July we sure did a lot of fun things as a family.
We hit up good ol 7-Eleven for some free slurpees!

We also have been trying to be better at holding our Monday night Family Home Evenings. Gavin seems to really enjoy them which makes it easier to have them.
Learning about the prophet Thomas S. Monson & then snarfing on some dirt cups. Gavin thought it was pretty cool to eat the worms. :)
Apparently there is a National Ice Cream Day. Luckily I saw it posted on Facebook so we were able to take part in such celebration. We headed to the Steak n' Shake & my boys were diggin it!
Every other Wednesday at the mall they have a family fun day activity that we've gone to twice so far.
They have story time, crafts, face painting & singing & dancing. Gavin's favorite part is the face painting & crafts. He could really care less about the stories & I think he gets too shy around all the kids to really let loose on the dance floor. :)
The face painter is amazing! You just tell her what you want & she whips it out super fast. He's the cutest scariest tiger I've ever seen!
That same afternoon when I put Liam down for his nap I could hear that Gavin had the kitchen sink turned on. I was expecting to see a mess & was already getting a little upset. When I turned the corner this is what I saw.
He turned to look at me & said, "I'm doin the dishes!". Every part of me melted & it made me smile to see my little man helping out.
Sunday is most definitely a Funday when we get to make a yummy dessert. Gavin loves helping mommy in the kitchen. Well mostly just eating the batter really, but it's still nice to have him contribute in some way. :)
Shopping with mom at Target is always fun to do when there are treats involved. We've formed quite a bad habit of getting popcorn every time. It just makes it so much more enjoyable when they are occupied :)

Look at those cute little kids! You have really been enjoying your summer. I have to say that I am so impressed! Whenever we walk in Target I have to RUN past the food area before Boyd sees it because he will point and then yell for popcorn! Love ya!
GREAT TIMES. GREAT MEMORIES! My heart melted too to see little Gavin helping his mom by doing dishes and I can see we got Liam hooked on ice cream at Disney World and that he really enjoys it!
