Liam - 10 months

So due to the big move & changing health insurance etc I wasn't able to get Liam in for his 9 month well check visit. I finally found a practice that I think I will really like. It was SUPER clean, they had separate waiting areas for healthy vs sick children, they have Saturday hours & one late weeknight til 9pm, we didn't have to wait long, the nurses were very friendly and the doctor was nice & to the point. 

Here are Liam's stats for 10 months:

Weight: 22lbs 8oz (70%)

Height: 29 3/4 (81%) 

His head is still off the chart. :) We have a big boy! I was shocked when she said that he was in the 80% range for height. Gavin has never been more than 50-60%. It will be fun to see all the differences they have as they continue to grow. 

 

Some things about Liam:

*He got his first tooth at 8 months old (bottoms)

*He started army crawling at 9 months old.

*He started full crawling & pulling himself up at 9 1/2 months.

*He loves to walk along the furniture & while holding onto your hands.

*He thinks he is pretty cool stuff being able to get into EVERYTHING!!!

*He knows when he is being naughty because once you start going after him to stop him, he just goes a lot faster & squeals while doing so.

*I hate that I'm already having to set limits & say no. He is getting into so much stuff way sooner than Gavin did I feel like. Must be because he sees big brother doing everything.

*He likes to be chased.

*He loves yogurt, cheese, bread, ok pretty much all table food. He still eats his baby food pretty good, but if he sees us eating something, he wants it & sure lets you know it.

*He loves to hear himself squawk, squeal & scream

*He is a big Daddy's boy just like big brother was. If Doug is in the room with me he will always choose Doug over me. :( And this goes for men in general. Our friends tended them the other night & she said he just cried & cried until she handed him over to her husband & he stopped instantly. Little stinker!

*He has all 4 upper front teeth (10 months)

*He sleeps all night from 7:30-7:00.

*He takes two 1 1/2 hour naps.

*Is learning to drink from a sippy.

*Loves to laugh & giggle.

*Is obsessed with big brother Gavin!

*Likes to take rides in his push car.

*Is using his walker toy & getting better at balancing. I'm a little nervous that he is going to be walking sooner than later. Ahh!

*Has the cutest little dimple on one cheek.

*Loves swimming & playing in the water.

* Has a thing for the toilet screw cover. WHY!?! Why do they like that? It's so gross. And he goes for it all day long. I forgot all the things you have to do to keep them out of stuff. Doors closed, child locks on cabinets, etc. 

*I cherish his nap times because he still lets me snuggle him & feed him a bottle. It's those moments where he looks, feels & is my tiny baby. He is growing & changing so fast! I can't believe we're going on a year in just a couple months. I love my sweet Liam!

 

 

The lower left picture cracks me up! He pulls some pretty funny faces. :) Love it!
