Doug & I were married on October 6, 2005 in the Salt Lake Temple. We are currently living in the Dallas, Texas area. We have two sons, Gavin Douglas born September 18, 2009 & Liam Robert born October 14, 2011. We are so happy to be a family of four & love our boys so much! It is always one adventure after another in this house.

Graduation

Graduation Day Saturday May 14th
The day was spent packing & we left just enough time to clean ourselves up before heading to graduation. Our friends Wayne & Rachel were so sweet to babysit our boys so that I could enjoy graduation without having an antsy toddler & squirmy baby. Doug had to be there early so he picked up Travis & they made their last carpool drive together. They have driven to school every day together for the past four years.

Me & Doug's parents sat with Stephanie & Travis' mom & sister. The graduates entered from the back & we were able to watch them progress down the aisles to their seats which weren't on stage. I thought that was a little odd. But it was fun spotting Doug in the crowd among his peers.

I thought I had a picture of Doug being hooded, but maybe I just got that on video. Oh well.

Here is the happy graduate walking out after the ceremony. Diploma in hand!

The reception afterwards was insanely crowded with people. It took a good 5+ minutes for me to weave in & out of people just trying to spot Doug. It was like a sea of people parted & there he was waiting for me. I was like a giddy little school girl when I saw him. :)

Me & my hot dentist husband!

Travis & Doug

Of course Trav jumps in to add his touch to our photo. :)

This is Roman. His clinic chair was right next to Doug's. He is funny & gave Doug some good laughs.

Fellow classmates
(Kipp, Andy, ?, Don & Doug)

The Mormons
(Doug, Chris, Eric, Travis, Jacob, Carl)
missing: Ryan & Pace

Here they all are back in 2008 at their White Coat Ceremony. They all look so young! Must have been all those long nights of studying for exams, boards etc. :)

After we went to pick up our boys & put them to bed. We had made a reservation at Black & Blue for 9pm. I can't remember the last time we started a night out that late. We of course had to celebrate with our 'entire' family so naturally the Evans' were there to join us.

They put us up in a private banquet room which was SO nice & quiet. The food was delicious!

A few weeks before graduation Steph & I were trying to decide what we could get our husbands as far a present goes. Trust me, we came up with a LOT of ideas, but they were more for guy's who were actually bringing home a pay check. If you catch where I'm going with that. So we really had to get creative without being oober cheesy. Well we at least came to a decision anyways. We bought them beverage glasses with their new titled names engraved on them. Or if you're my husband you could say "embroidered". ;) It's okay honey, I love your little slip ups.

It was a fantastic day in honor of Doug & all the other graduates. I can't believe my husband is now officially a dentist! Yahoo!
