I do have a lot of catching up to do on the blog, but for today being such a special day I wanted to do a post about it.
Six years ago today Doug & I were married in the Salt Lake Temple. In fact, it was a day just like today. Blue skies, sunshine, brisk fall air, fall colors starting to emerge from the trees etc. It really was a great day! I still can't believe it has been six years though. I know to some that is nothing & it's not in the long run, but I am sure dang proud of our six years together as married folk! ;) Here are a few pictures that I love from our special day.

Isn't he the best lookin groom you've ever seen?! I sure think so. :)Geez! After looking at these I think we may just have to watch our wedding video. I know Doug always loves to do that. :) So to celebrate our anniversary we are going out to dinner tonight. It's so nice having such good friends that are willing to tend Gavin so we can have some alone time. We also have made it tradition to follow the themed anniversary gifts (1st year-paper, 2nd year-cotton, 3rd year-leather etc.) This is a really fun way to do gifts for each other. It takes A LOT of the guess work out & allows you to get creative. Well for the 6th year the theme is candy. A little odd if you ask me, but that's just fine. I'd post a pic of what I did, but that would ruin the surprise for Doug. So I will do a post about it later.
I love my husband, I love our life together & am looking forward to the years to come!

Those pictures bring it all back like it was yesterday. You two don't look a day older! It was a perfect day with beautiful weather, a beautiful bride, a handsome groom and a marriage and sealing in the beautiful Salt Lake Temple. Congratulations and Happy 6th Anniversary!!
