We were thrilled & lucky to have the company of our dear friends Clark & Jamilyn Bell for 4.5 days! We had a ton of fun doing all the sites in & around Buffalo.
It is always fun for me & Doug to take our visitors to Niagara Falls. It is so beautiful up there & we just never seem to get sick of it. The mist was coming up over the rail like crazy & people were drenched from head to toe. We all voted NOT to go closer. No one felt like getting soaked.
We walked the little stretch of tourist attractions & it all seemed to remind us a little of Vegas :) We ate lunch at the RainForest Cafe & we had the place all to our selves.
We just couldn't pass up the great weather on Friday so we decided to head back to Canada to go to our favorite spot. Travis, Steph & Collin Evans & our bachelor for the week Bron (Megan, we missed you dearly) joined in on the beach fun too!
Saturday we hit the road for Palmyra, New York. We attended a temple session which is always a treat! We went to the Book of Mormon print shop, we toured the Smith farm & enjoyed the Sacred Grove. On our way out we stopped at the Hill Cumorah & enjoyed the view from way up high. Ya gotta love Doug's hand stand! On our way home we stopped in Rochester to eat at P.F. Changs. Yummy!
Sunday after church we decided to go down to Buffalo's waterfront & just hang out. It was fun to see the naval ships & submarines.
We just had to take them to....DUFF'S! Doug was so excited to take Clark to get wings it was hilarious. I think Clark was just as excited to try them. Well, it was such a hit that they got wings 3 times while they were in town! 2x at Duff's & 1x at the Anchor Bar. :)
Thank you Jami & Clark for coming out to see us! You have no idea how much it means to have visitors from home. You're welcome back anytime!

Rachel! I'm so happy I stumbled onto your blog-it's so cute! My mom told me you're pregnant, I am SO happy for you! You look so great!!! You and Doug are perfect together, it looks like you're loving life! It's fun to see what you've been up to. I hope all is well! Good luck with being prego- I hope you're feelin good :-)
