Easter Weekend

We were so excited to have Meema & Bumpa come visit us over Easter weekend. It's so much more fun to celebrate the holidays with family.

We jumped right into the Easter festivities by dying some eggs. The boys had so much fun with Bumpa.

 Mom & I sneaked off one night to do some shopping & catch a movie together. 

We woke up Easter morning to rain which was a bummer. But the boys didn't seem to mind.

The Easter Bunny treated them with some goodies in their baskets. 

Prepping food for a big meal is always a lot more fun when you're doing it with your mom!

And while we were working away in the kitchen, these boys were working out with Bumpa. :)

 Dinner was delicious! We had ham, party potatoes, 3 berry salad & rolls. 

 After eating we passed around a basket with plastic eggs. Each contained an item that represented part of the story from the Resurrection. It was a fun way to get the boys involved in the true meaning of why we even have Easter.

We treated my parents to a dinner out at our new favorite place Whiskey Cake Kitchen. It's always wonderful when you can have a peaceful meal without children. Haha!

Next up was hitting the road for San Antonio. My Dad had some work to do down there so we decided to tag along with him as we have not ever been. Doug had to work so we was unable to join us.
