Our 9th Anniversary

Monday was our 9th Anniversary! Every year that passes I think to myself, "Gosh, has it really been that long?" Doug is such a fun guy to be married to & we usually have a pretty darn good time together. :) I love him more & more every year as our relationship grows. He is my support, my friend, my lover, my partner in all things & my eternal companion. I'm so glad we chose each other to spend forever together.

 Such babies we were. I love looking back at our wedding photos & slipping back in time. Such a beautiful day that was absolutely practically perfect. 

We just celebrated at home with the family because Doug's parents arrived in town that evening. I tried to make it special with a yummy dinner of our favorite mini meatloaves, garlic mashed potatoes & a new recipe for roasted brussel sprouts.

  

 After dinner we toasted our Anniversary with some sparkling cider & chocolate covered strawberries. Doug was so sweet & brought me home this beautiful bouquet of flowers.

It was a great evening together & I was getting excited about what was to come.
