Gavin wanted to continue playing a sport once soccer ended so we signed him up for tball. He does really well with us at home so we figured this would be perfect for him to learn the rules of the game & have instruction from other adults & learn to work as a team. They had a few practices before their first game & my oh my. This was going to be hilarious. All these 4-5 year old boys are more interested in the clay then they are with the ball. Haha! It's all in good fun & spirit & we were excited for the season.
Their team name is the A's. And I about die every time I get him dressed in his uniform. I can't help but smile at how adorable he looks. Here he is at his very first game. They play 2 innings & everyone gets to bat. They don't keep track of 'outs' or 'runs'.
Gavin is on the left in the 'baseball ready' position.
He is third from the right with his hand up by his face.
Hey batta batta batta!
And it's outa here!
He really enjoys playing even if we have to remind him of that now & then. Haha!
Love my little ball player!
