Doug & I have decided that we want to do something Santa related each year for the boys & the family. With Gavin & Liam being such a fun age right now we decided to do the Polar Express train again this year. And it's the last year that Liam is free. :)
{Dave, Steve, Doug, Liam, Me, Gavin, Whitney, Danny & JoDee}
The boys were so excited about boarding the train & were hating that we had to wait out in the cold. So we just had them run around to stay warm. In fact, Uncle Danny joined in on the play & maybe played a little too hard. Haha!
Gavin thought it was pretty funny that Uncle Danny ripped his pants. :) And Gavin was right, it was.
All a board! As soon as we were seated Santa's elves came around to
'label' each child so Santa would know their name. And then they passed
out cookies & hot cocoa.
I just love this picture of Doug & Gavin. Such handsome guys!
Singing carols on the train.
Jing-a-ling!
We made it to the North Pole! We could see Santa outside the train waving to us. The boys thought it was so cool that Santa got to board the train & ride back with us.
And seeing Santa at Bass Pro in Florida helped Liam not be so fearful. He just kept reminding himself aloud that, "Santa's nice." Haha!
We had a pretty good time & the boys loved it. Having family traditions such as this is so fun. I love seeing how the magic of Christmas affects my children.
