Mint & Pink Baby Shower

I helped my friend Lisa plan & throw a baby shower for our friend Cortney. Cortney is expecting a little girl. Being away from family can be hard so we wanted to go all out for her with this being her first baby. Lisa & I had soooo many ideas, but we quickly decided that mint & pink with a vintage feel was going to be our theme.

I designed the invitations & think they turned out pretty cute.

We did most of the setting up & decorating the night before. I big thanks to my sister Laura for coming over to help. The morning of was spent baking, prepping food, & last minute decor stuff. But it all came to together perfectly & Cortney loved it!

I couldn't help but giggle when we both chose to dress according to the color theme. :)

 The cute mom to be!

When guest arrived they could sign in the book & leave Cortney a little note or piece of advice. This is also where they received their party favor.

I I just love putting the clothes up on a clothes line for all to see. It's so cute & sweet.

I just love how everything came together. The pink tulle skirt was an idea I've been wanting to try for a long time. I made the rag banner & am in LOVE with how cute it is. I'm really hoping that when baby #3 does come around that it's a girl so I can put it up in her room. haha!

We served brunch & man alive did we have some good food. There was a fruit pizza bar, egg casserole, muffins, donuts, chocolate covered strawberries, melon, cheese & crackers, cupcakes, veggies, cinnamon roll cake, & mint oreo truffles. Oh, and I can't forget the rosette cake.

This was my first ever attempt at making a rosette cake. I've done a ruffle cake in the past, but this was fun & even easier than I expected. It turned out so pretty, but the hard thing with big cakes like this is that no one wants to cut into them. So we had a ton left over. Not that I'm complaining. Yum!

I'm so excited for her to have her little baby girl! She's going to be the cutest mom.
