Our Family

The Shaw Family

Doug & I were married on October 6, 2005 in the Salt Lake Temple. We are currently living in the Dallas, Texas area. We have two sons, Gavin Douglas born September 18, 2009 & Liam Robert born October 14, 2011. We are so happy to be a family of four & love our boys so much! It is always one adventure after another in this house.

Life

We usually end up having pretty fun days all in all around here. There is always something to do, somewhere to go & I just can't help but capture life's moments on a regular basis. This is a random post of those said things.

The boys were outside & I was inside prepping dinner when I heard the Ice Cream Truck in the neighborhood. I ran out & told Doug to stop it so we could let Gavin have his first experience buying ice cream out of a truck. :)

It was so cute to watch him pick out what he wanted & pay for it all by himself. I also got a good laugh out of the lady nearly falling out her window to collect the money. tee-hee!

Sharing more sweets with brother. Gavin really likes to feed Liam & it's pretty stinkin cute to watch. I love how much they interact with each other.

Gavin has been giving up his naps again as of late so I've been trying to get him to have 'quiet time' in his room instead. But every now & then this kid still crashes as much as he hates to.

Kind of hard to find him among all those dress-ups, but thankfully with him dressed like Wheres Waldo, it's doable. haha!

After naps we headed outside for a walk to the playground.

Gavin went on a walk with Aunt Laura to the store one morning & when they got back they had brought me these beautiful blue hydrangeas.

A Saturday at Costco = CRAZY mad house!

Liam found Daddy's swim cap. Haha!

Me & my buddies. Sadly, we spend too much of our time here in the car, but they are such good boys that it makes it fairly easy to run around town.
