Family Photos

I have been looking forward to getting our family photos taken for a long time. It had been over 2 years since we have had a really nice photo. And I was excited to have updated pictures of my boys. My good friend Megan Shaheen always took our photos for us in Buffalo & she is simply amazing. So I was sad when she moved away because it's hard to come by someone that has such talent. When we moved down here to Florida we became good friends with Drew & Michele Steel. Drew is Megan's brother. Small world huh? Anyhow, Megan had mentioned to me that Michele also likes photography & was really good. So when I asked her if she was willing to take our photos and she said yes, I was so excited!!! 

Living in Florida for only a couple years made picking the location very easy. What better place to shoot than the beach?! I've always wanted a beach background for a family photo. So off we went to Dania Beach all prepared with snacks & treats to keep the boys attention & happy. It was quite windy by the water so we had a difficult time getting my hair under control. Ha ha! But Michele worked her magic & I just knew I was going to love how they turned out. Sadly, the boys did lose it & we never got a good picture of the two of them together. Bummer. So I just have to say when Michele gave me the photos I was a little giddy & a little nervous at the same time to see them. But oh my goodness! I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE how they all turned out!!! I'm so thankful for good friends that are willing to share their amazing talents. Check out her blog here: Photo Expressions

 Of course by this time they had had it & wouldn't cooperate anymore. But I still love it! Totally shows their personalities. I love how Liam is just checking out Gavin with a 'what's so funny?' look.

It was so fun taking pictures on the beach & we are so very thankful to Michele & her willingness to deal with our crazy family. We LOVE them all!
