Sunday Funday

One Sunday after naps we decided to venture out to the park to enjoy the beautiful day. We love going on family bike rides & there is a park not far from our community that is perfect for smaller children.

Gavin gearing up for the ride.

I was a little nervous taking this picture while riding my bike in fear of dropping my phone or worse crashing. But everything turned out just fine. Whew. haha!

It really was the perfect day. The temperature was cooler & even more so in the shade. I would have laid on the blanket all afternoon if I could.

I really like this tree. There is just something about it that reminds me of a Disney movie or something magical like.

Doug saw it differently. He saw it as a good climbin tree. Or in Gavin's case, a good sittin real still tree.

Scared me to death having him up that high. He was quite nervous too even though he didn't want to show it. So boy!

Liam eating his sandwich like a big kid. I hate that my baby is getting so big! Where does the time go?

It is so fun watching the boys play together. It is not very often, but when it does happen it just melts my heart.

Doug loves throwing the boys high up in the sky. And the boys equally love to be thrown. They just look like little rag dolls way up there. Ahhh! Why do dads find such thrill in this?

How nice that you have a "little kids" park so close to home! That tree is awesome. And you're right.. it's something in Dad's genes that make them throw their kids so high. :)
