Liam One Year

Liam turned one year old on October 14th. I know everyone says it, but I truly cannot believe how fast this past year went. I can remember his birth like it was yesterday. Liam has been the best little baby & has added such joy to our lives. 

Not best picture as he is naked & there is drool all over his neck. Oh well.

He had is doctor check up so here are his stats:

Weight: 25 lbs (70%)

Height: 31 inches (80%)

Head: 97% 

**This is a big deal, his head is actually on the chart. Wahoo!**

Some things about Liam:

* Sleeps from 7:30pm-7:30/8:00am

* Takes two naps

* Loves cows milk & is no longer taking formula

* Likes playing with his brother, but also by himself

* Still loves kitchen utensils to play with

* Knows when he is being naughty because when he is caught he crawls away & laughs

* Walks along everything & anything mobile is used as a walker

* Has taken up to 10 steps or so by himself

*Won't stay seated in the bath, but loves bathtime

* Loves to bee-bop to music

* Signs 'baby', 'more' & & 'all done'

* Folds his arms for prayers

* Is mimicking a lot of actions, sounds & faces that we do

* Has been nicknamed 'Bulldozer' as he is constantly pushing you out of his way with his bum

* Is in his big boy car seat & a much happier traveler

* Loves to snuggle after naps

* Is a HUGE daddy's boy, just like his big brother was. He screams & tantrums whenever Doug leaves, chooses Doug over me. It's sweet, but also a little annoying 

*Has 6 teeth

* Is climbing on everything

* Loves books (ripping the pages)

* Still uses his binki & loves it

* Has a toe fetish. He tries to bite your toes.

* Loves patty cake, tiny turtle, popcorn popping on the apricot tree

* Likes to lead the music in church

*Loves the toilet. I HATE THIS! I don't understand the fascination one bit. YUCK!

* Eats anything he can get his hands on

* Is obsessed with Gavin. He wants to be where Gavin is, doing what Gavin is doing. Even when Gavin is in time out, Liam will crawl over to him & stand next to him by the wall. Makes it difficult to take time outs seriously around here.

* Is currently suffering from separation anxiety.

*  Has the best & most contagious laugh

* Gets shy when others oooh or ahh at him

We love our little Liam & are so happy to have him in our family.
