The Weekend

**This was a couple weekends ago** 

Friday night we went out to Johnny Rockets. Gavin was so hyper. It must have been the music & the fact that there was an arcade attached that he was adamant about going to. :) But at least he was the happy hyper. He just kept dancing on the seat & would have random outbursts of high pitched shrills of excitement. Too funny! Liam does pretty well still for eating out. It makes it much easier now that he eats table food & loves it!

 Saturday we hit up the beach & on our way home we stopped in at Jaxon's Ice Cream Parlor. We have had a lot of people tell us that it's a must so how could we resist?! ;)

I knew I would like it just by the outside. It was very unique & old fashioned decorated with TONS of license plates & antiques.

Ya baby! That's what I'm talking about. haha! This was their black & white goblet. All of their creations were HUGE! Thankfully we decided to share.

We are so much more relaxed when it comes to letting Liam eat sweets than we were with Gavin. It's kinda funny & bad at the same time. But boy does this kid like the sweet stuff! He must take after is Dad Mom. :)

We didn't order any of their food, but from what we saw being brought out it looked really good. So I think we will just have to back sometime (soon). 

Sunday after dinner we took a stroll around the neighborhood enjoying the cooler air. I say cooler but it was still probably 80 something, but there was a nice breeze. As you can see it was cooler to us because Gavin is even wearing sweat pants. haha!

Gavin was being a stinker & didn't want to walk even though he said he did when we left. Typical. So the only way I could convince him to keep using those legs was to collect rocks & find bugs to look at. He was definitely more on board with that.

When we got back we whipped up some delicious Strawberry Shortcake from scratch. YUM! 

It was a great weekend as a family!
