On Saturday June 16th, there was a community event called Touch a Truck. They have all kinds of different trucks, tractors, fire engines, motorcycles etc that kids can climb up on & check out. We got there in the morning to try & beat the heat & crowds. Gavin was in heaven! He just ran from one right to the next. On the tractor they were actually letting the kids maneuver the controls to move the hoe. The guy was helping the kids out because I guess they weren't aggressive enough to actually get it to move. Little did he know what was in store when my son jumped in the driver seat. Gavin immediately knew what to do. He threw his hands on the controls & went crazy moving them forward, backward & side to side. The man was a little scared because he quickly ended Gavin's turn saying that was enough. Ha ha!
It was a lot of fun & I love when the community offers free things to do as a family. A great way to start our Saturday for sure.
