Girls Get Away

This was a weekend that I was super excited about. We had a little girls weekend with some friends to celebrate the end our 4th & final year here in Buffalo. I did this last year with some friends up in Toronto & as fun as that was to actually go away we decided to try staying local this time. I can't decide which I liked better. Anyhow, we started off the night with going to Cheesecake Factory. **side note, I almost got my little white butt beat by a very upset Buffalonian chick in the parking lot due to taking 'her' parking spot. (which I'm not gonna lie, I did indeed take it) Steph & Marianne who were with me wouldn't have been much back up as they had their faces covered & looking away during the whole lil spat. I think we heard the F-word probably 10 times in that encounter. Eeek! And she had her kids with her too.  I guess it wouldn't have been a complete Buffalo experience if we didn't have some kind of scuffle. :) ** Little did we know that there would already by a 2 hour wait at 6PM. And the hostess said with such a chipper tone too. Bug! Oh well, we were at the mall so we just went shopping to pass the time. There is nothing better than being able to shop without a stroller with kids either crying, whining or pulling things off the racks. It was blissful! {below pictures are thanks to Steph}

I love Cheesecake Factory! Our bellies were very full after waiting for so long. Steph & I shared the Carmel Chicken which is the bomb diggity!

After dinner we hit up Target for a little more shopping. And then we headed downtown to the hotel. Natalie use to work for the Hyatt so she was able to score us a sweet deal on a junior suite. We all got a good laugh when the front desk girl told us that parties are not allowed. :) Darn it! We had to cancel the DJ & dancers after all.
We could have hosted a big party with how much junk food we had & consumed!

We had fun chatting away, telling stories all the while I was teaching them some new cute ways to style hair.
We stayed up way too late, like I'm talking 3:30AM. And of coarse I couldn't even fall asleep right away either. In the morning after getting ready we went to a coffee shop for a quick breakfast & then we headed out for our day of fun. Marianne & Laney went shopping while the rest of us went to Massage Envy. It was heavenly! I have not had a massage in 4 years!!! It was so relaxing & I could easily make them a part of my monthly to do's once we are done with school. I girl can dream right?! :)

This picture was taken after our massages hence why we all have that sleepy look. It's obvious that we all needed & enjoyed it.
After that we went to TJ Maxx for a bit & then all went our separate ways. Steph & I were really wanting to go to the movies so that we did. We grabbed a bite to eat at Five Guys & then saw Mirror Mirror with Julia Roberts. It was a cute movie & a perfect way to end our get together.

Ahhhh, SO SO much fun! I really wish every weekend could be like that. Caramel chicken, shopping, massages, friends... it really was the best!
