The Wednesday before Easter there was an egg hunt for playgroup. Gavin was so excited about finding the eggs. He really did a great job & it was over in no time. These kids don't waste any time at all when it comes to candy.
When we were walking back they just couldn't wait any longer & plopped down on the ground to start in on their goodies. So stinking cute!

Easter Sunday
Gavin was so excited about finding his Easter basket. It was the first thing he asked about when he woke up.
Liam of course had no idea what was going on, but he sure loved playing with the grass in the baskets.
Isn't he the cutest little bunny you've ever seen?! :)
Are they brothers or what?
After eating the yummy bunny pancakes that dad made for breakfast we got ready for church. This is the first matching outfit that I have bought & put the boys in. They look so adorable!
That evening we went over to the Evans' house for their Easter dinner that they have hosted for the last 4 years. It sure is a fun tradition that we always look forward to. It really does make being away from family on the holidays bearable. We are so grateful for good friends.
Us, the lover boys (Ryan &Wayne-their wives weren't able to come) & the Taylors
Justin & Traci Warcup & Marianne & Josh Twiss
After we finished eating we brought out all the egg dying stuff & had at it. The kids loved this!
While the eggs were drying we went outside for the kids to have an Egg Hunt. It was so fun watching them run around. Once again they cleaned up pretty darn quick. I had a hard time running around trying to snap pictures of the kiddos. They would just dash from one egg to another.

I am super impressed that I was able to snap a shot where ALL the kids were actually looking forward. Okay, it wasn't really me, there were about 6 adults behind me yelling to get their attention. :)
Gavin is so funny! He came inside & immediately went & found a quiet spot to open his eggs & dive into that chocolate!
Me & Marianne were going to be really silly with Steph's camera, but then I remembered that Steph is one that would put whatever silly photo we took on her blog & we would be so embarrassed. So we settled on being normal. :)
The next event of the evening was the great Egg Roll Contest. It still baffles me that only one egg will crack when two roll into each other. Traci was the winner this year!
Oh & we do have another child don't we?! Liam was there & was happy as can be. Especially with that binki in his mouth. :)
Easter was wonderful & I am so grateful to be able share it with my family & friends.

So glad you could be a part of our 4 year tradition! It wouldn't be the same without you!
