Crystal Beach

I hate that summer is almost over! It really has gone by so quickly. I do love the fall & am looking forward to it, but I'm just not ready to say goodbye to summer quite yet. Before Doug started back to school we hit up Crystal Beach multiple times. We LOVE that place! Our last visit was definitely the most beautiful, fun & scaring experience yet.

We played a lot in the sand this trip. Gavin & Collin were totally 'diggin' the buried idea. They also loved to crush any sand sculpture that was made.

I even decided to get involved & let them bury my legs. Doug couldn't simply just bury them, he had to make me look like a mermaid. :) I've never seen a prego mermaid before so this was definitely a first. :)


Are you ready for the scarring part? So we are all just hanging around playing with the sand, swimming, eating & we all seemed to notice at the same time this lovely fellow strolling down the beach. Yes, he is very old, has a very long braid & was very content making a spectacle of himself. Steph & I of coarse pretended to be taking pictures of our children while we captured these images. And the best part....later he strolled by again wearing a different colored g-string! Can you believe this guy? He obviously was doing it to get attention & attention he got.

And I love the onlookers on the right that appear to being giving applause. :) Oh the joys of summer & what you see on the beach. To each their own I suppose.
