The Shaw Family

Doug & I were married on October 6, 2005 in the Salt Lake Temple. We are currently living in the Dallas, Texas area. We have two sons, Gavin Douglas born September 18, 2009 & Liam Robert born October 14, 2011. We are so happy to be a family of four & love our boys so much! It is always one adventure after another in this house.

I want to be just like Mommy & Daddy

Gavin is just getting so big & he loves to do everything that mom & dad do. It always makes us smile when we see him trying to mimic us. He is so much fun!

One night at dinner after Doug finished he leaned back in his chair & put his arms behind his head to relax. We were just talking & I glanced over to Gavin & this is what I saw...

Now every time we say "relax" this is what he does. So cute!

He has this thing with putting on shoes. It doesn't matter who's shoes they are he will try them on & try to walk around in them. I think it is just the cutest thing ever!

He LOVES to help dad work. Doug mentioned to me that things take so much longer having a little helper, but so worth the time. He is such a boy & loves tools.

Here he is playing with his new toy tool set from Aunt Laura. I think he played with it for a straight 45 minutes once we got it out of the box.

It's hard to believe he's getting to be so big - not a baby anymore. I think it's great that he wants to be like you guys - big responsibility for you as parents though to make sure that what he emulates is good. Love you all.
