The Easter Bunny did visit our house, but Sunday morning was quite rushed with Doug needing to be early to church for a last minute choir practice. So we didn't get to find our loot until the afternoon. Gavin had just woken up from his nap & he went right into the front room & straight for his basket.
That evening we went to our friends the Evans for dinner & an egg hunt. They have hosted for Easter every year that we have been here. It is so fun to have our own little traditions with our friends especially when we're so far from family. Dinner was delicious! Ham, party potatoes, 3 berry salad, deviled eggs, rolls & a berry trifle for dessert. Yum! I didn't have my camera with me so I don't have any pictures. :( After dinner we all decorated our eggs for the annual Egg Bash. I don't know why this game is so fun, but it is always a hit & we have a great time.
Thankfully the weather held out for us so we could have an egg hunt outside. This was our first year doing this since most of our kids are now old enough to actually participate. I loved it! Watching the kids run around picking up eggs was great! Thankfully Crescent was nice enough to snap some pictures of Gavin for me. They all turned out so cute!

You could've stolen my pics! :) It really was such a fun evening. Glad the weather held up for the egg hunt. What a cute pic of all of them with their baskets!
Looks like he had a ball hunting for eggs and that he got the hang of it pretty fast. I can tell from the pic with all the kiddies in a row that he is ready to be off and running - Doug has to hold him still. Precious little ones.
