Becker Farms

So Saturday was a really good day. I loved everything about it. I got to sleep in til 9:15 am {wahoo!}, get ready uninterrupted, go eat breakfast at the Taylor's & then drive a beautiful 45 minutes to Becker Farms. The weather couldn't have been more perfect for a fall day. Blue skies, sun out, colorful leaves on the trees....simply wonderful! Becker Farms has a Pumpkin Festival every year & this was our first time ever going.

While we were waiting for everyone to get there Doug took Gavin to look & pet some of the animals. He didn't mind being close to them & just looked at them in interest.

We then went through the Haunted Labyrinth for the kiddos. Gavin didn't really like all the creepy bodies & faces. He would start whining when we would have him look at anything close.

After coming out of the Labyrinth there was Becker Mountain. The kids all climbed up & then came sliding down this pipe slide. It was a bumpy ride, but they loved it! Thanks Wayne for catching our son!

Here is the entire group that came. I really like this shot! Especially because the Carter's aren't even sitting next to each other. :) I promise they are happily married!

We did watch a pig race & stuff of faces with the most delicious doughnuts ever! Yum!
Gavin has a thing with loud noises & so we would have to cover his ears any time it got noisy.

They had a big fire truck that you could climb up on. He sure loves steering wheels! So cute to watch him play.

This was the funnest thing to watch Gavin do. Ride the pony! He was loving it! He would just let go & start waving his hands in excitement.

They had an adult haunted house that we just couldn't pass up. The guys went first & they came out a shakin!

So us girls just had to give it a go. Arms linked of coarse the entire way through. We had fun screaming & shrieking. Can't you tell how frightened we were?!

This was seriously one of the funnest days we've had in a long time.
