Our friend Creed has been talking for a long time about wanting to roast a pig. With Doug having served his mission in Samoa & having the knowledge of how to cook this little piggie the only debate was to where. No one was volunteering their yards to have a nice big pit dug in it. Including us! Well, this summer a new dental student moved into our neighborhood. The Dobbins. They just happened to have a nice big sand box in their backyard. I'm sure it didn't take long for the guys to talk Wayne into it. However, I don't know how they talked his wife, Rachel into ruining their daughters potential play area. Anyhow, once the decision was made it turned into quite a big deal. Here are some pics of the entire process start to finish!
The guys had so much fun doing this! It took a lot of work from everyone involved. As gross as it was to see the pig, the meat was actually pretty good! Great job guys!
It was quite the party! Everything looked great! I brought the centerpieces for the tables using all of Dougs mission stuff. They had a best dressed prize & Steph, Wayne & Doug were the contestants. Doug busted out some Samoan dance moves & yelps. He won a coconut bra & treats! Thanks Cardons for a great shin-dig!

haha that looks like so much fun! The pig does look really sick laying in the ground though I have to admit.
SO AWESOME! Pat is way jealous and wants a hole in our backyard now.
It was a great time! Thanks to you and Doug for your part in planning it!
