With summer being sooo HOT, we've spent quite a lot of time in the water. We have gone to a couple of the wading pools & Gavin always has a blast! He really loves the water. Thank goodness because if he didn't then that would mean I couldn't get in. ;)

{Darn sun! It's too bright!}

This is Maia. She is one of my lil' clients! Funny thing, a while back we were all over at the Shaheens. Maia is usually pretty shy at first & takes a while to warm up. Well she ran up to me & said, "Rachel, I need my hair cut!" I told her that her mom would have to set up an appointment that worked for her. She said, "Ok, but my bangs are really long & in my eyes." I couldn't get over how stinkin cute she was & how outgoing she was about her hair. She is a true WOMAN! :) I love it when she comes to visit me at my salon & to get her haircut.

I often hear Gavin wake up & just talk to himself in his crib. I've walked in a few times to find him standing! So this time I grabbed my camera hoping to capture the moment, but instead he was just peering over his bumper awaiting his mommy! I love this kid!
