I don't have any decorations for this holiday & don't really do much, so when my sister sent us a little green package I decided we should do something. Gavin & I got dressed in our green so we wouldn't get pinched by anyone! We made some yummy cake balls, went on a walk & then had a green dinner when dad got home. It was a fun day!

Aren't those pants & socks adorable?! Thank you Aunt Laura :)
My little man is getting so big! I love his eyes & big smile!

Our GREEN food! We had brinner for dinner & it was so fun/weird to be making green eggs, milk & pancakes. But it tasted yummy anyhow! Happy St.Patricks Day!

[6 MONTHS]

Gavin had his 6month check up on Monday & it went really well. He didn't even flinch or cry with his first shot! I was shocked, but the nurse told me to expect it for the 2nd one. Boy was she right! He just wailed! I always feel so bad when this happens. He just looks at me like "why mom?" Oh it just breaks my heart! Anyways, here are his stats:

Height: 26 1/4 (50%)
Weight: 18lb 1oz (60%)
Head: 18 1/2 (97%)

We sure have a growing boy! Here are some things about Gavin at 6 Months Old:

* He loves to suck on his lower lip & often makes a bitter beer man face
*He has found his voice & uses it to squeal & squak at us for attention
*He rolls from back to front all the time
* He loves his rice cereal
* He grabs at everything! Which makes it rather difficult to feed him.
* He had baby food for the first time & loved it! Ate the whole jar of green beans!
* He gets so excited when we take his clothes off
* He still loves bath time & his rubber ducky
* He sleeps on average 10+ hours at night
* He is just starting to take naps without being swaddled
*He loves to go on stroller rides & see everything
* He loves his mobile & stuffed froggie
* He loves to look in hall mirror & get his tiny finger prints all over it! (I just hate cleaning them off. It's so precious)

We love you little one & can't believe how quickly the time passes.

Those videos are great! He didn't seem to mind the beans at all. Too cute that he always wants you focused on him. : )

So I was just wondering if Aunt Laura would like to adopt another nephew? It was worth a try! :) I love your green brinner. Thanks for bringing over the yummy cake balls! You're the best!

You are so cute how you always do fun things for the holidays...I didn't even remember it was St. Patrick's day until that afternoon. So lame. I had wanted to make green pancakes for Maia too!! Oh well, next year I guess. I can't believe how big Gavin is! He's a cutie.

Adorable videos... love the updates... suggestion: could you do the text in a darker font? Our old eyes can't read the yellow/orange very well. Thanks Sweetie

I can't believe how big Gavin is already! What the heck? And you are too cute with your brinner. I did the green eggs for breakfast and Cass thought I was so weird. Sigh...
