Weekend Fun!

We had a really fun weekend! Let me share with you what we did. Our friends Jordan & Shawnee Griffeth flew into Buffalo a week ago & drove into NYC to see family. They came back on Thursday night & stayed with us til Saturday morning. We had a lot of fun spending time with them & catching up. It was short, but definitely sweet! We got a lot in too for only having one day to play. We went to Niagara Falls to view the beauty. The weather was actually pretty good, but boy was it windy!!!

After we hit up the Niagara Falls Outlets. My friends Abby & Laney gave me coupons for the GAP/Old Navy/Banana Family & Friends Discount Days so we had to go see what goodies we could find. :) It was a lot of fun! Doug was having way too much fun trying on pretty much everything in sight & modeling it for us & everyone else standing in line. :) We found some killer deals & just could't resist the bargain buys. That night we went to eat dinner at Duff's. They have the best Buffalo Wings! Jordan & Shawnee were a little hesitant about the wings, but after they tried them, they were sold. :)

We decided that the fun could not end here so we went to the MoViEs! It was opening night for the new James Bond Quantum of Solace. Who doesn't enjoy a good action movie?! I really liked it too! I would however suggest to watch the last one, Casino Royale before seeing this movie. There were a lot of references & we all had a hard time remembering.

We had a great time with our friends! Thanks for visiting Griffeths! Come again anytime! :)

Saturday was a fun & busy day as well. In the morning I went with my friends Megan & Crescent to help out with the Stake Achievement Days. It was a lot of fun working with the 8-11 year old girls. They had such fun & sweet personalities. I did some hair in the afternoon & then that night Doug & I were able to attend the baptism of our friend Allison. She has been investigating the church for a year & last night was the special night. It was amazing & I am so glad we were able to be apart of it. Today at church was a big day as well. We got a new bishop! Well that pretty much sums up our weekend. Thanks for reading! :)
