I just have to start by saying...this is going to be a long post! I have to play catch up from where I left off. So here it goes:
So the week that we left we did a lot of goodbyes. That is basically what you are about to see. It was so much fun spending time with our friends & family. You all are greatly missed.
My last day at the Brick House Retreat was a sad one. :( I have made some dear friendships there over the past 5 years & it really was a home away from home. Am I crazy that I miss work already?! Anyways, we all went out to the Porcupine Grill for my goodbye bash. It was a ton of fun & I'm glad I got to be with my BHR pals!
Doug & I decided to have a BBQ where all of our friends could come hang out, eat, mingle, eat, say goodbye, eat. :) It was perfect weather & we had a great turn out. Who knew we had such great friends? Here are a few moments of the evening.
So my family wanted to have an outing before we left & my dad had the brilliant idea to go to LaGoON! We went in the evening to beat the heat & crowds. Little did we know that it was 9th Grade Lagoon Day. That's right, they were everywhere!!! It was actually pretty funny to listen to them & their "drama". My favorite rides were WiCkEd & the SAmuRI. We of course had to go into Pioneer Village for ice cream. There was a little Dentist shop so we thought it appropriate for Doug to get a picture. My sister & I love the Tilt a Whirl & the Srambler. We could not stop laughing! She laughed so hard she had an asthema attack & started her old man cough. :) Great times!
We had a lot of fun before we left didn't we? And we even found time to pack everything into boxes & fill up the BiG Penske truck. Thanks to everyone for all the great memories we made over that last week. For now, that is all. Pictures of our journey across the country will shortly be posted. :) XOXO

RACH! So fun to read about your adventures, Lagoon on 9th grade Lagoon day...AWESOME. I'm sad I had to leave the BBQ before the pictures commenced. Anyway, I love you and yes, let us chat soon.
Oooh, I can only imagine what 9th grade Lagoon day was like. Were lots of kids doing the "Jet Star"? Wow I miss that place, and you of course!!
Your last week pictures are fun and again, we're so sorry and sad we couldn't come to the BBQ. I'm glad you made it safe and good luck with getting the rest of your house put together. I love you and I miss you. It still makes me sad to know we won't be seeing each other regularly anymore. I just talked to you today, and I think it made me miss you more. I better go before I start getting emotional. I love you guys!
I know you were so busy before you left, It's so fun to see all you did! I used work by the eggs place and thought it was so cute! Good to know it's yummy! We sure miss you! The picts look so great! Apparently something was really funny! :D and I'm the only one who thought so! :D he he Love ya Rach!
I'm so glad to hear that you guys are finally there! Your last week seemed pretty crazy, but I am so glad we got to see eachother before you left! I hope you guys are doing well...I love you and I miss you :)

I have missed reading about you. It looks like your last week here was great. I LOVE Lagoon...I need to go there this summer. I am glad you made it safe.
