For Family Home Evening we talked about Lehi's Vision. After discussing what everything represented & watching a video we had the boys act it out.
Liam was all over being the people in the building. Haha! That's him on the side trying to persuade Gavin to let go of the iron rod. But Gavin held strong & made it to the Tree of Life. They both took turns choosing the right & partaking of the fruit aka popcorn balls.
My little helper with some valentines brownies in the mix.
Having a Sonic just down the road is a very stupid good thing.
In Gavin's class at school they focus a lot on the letters Q & U when it comes to reading. Because they have such a special bond together his teachers put on a wedding to get the kids excited. I thought it was pretty darn cute. All the girls dressed like Queens & all the boys dressed like Quarterbacks.
Made some pillow covers to spruce up the window seat in the kitchen. It was fun picking out the fabric & getting my craft on.
We've had some super cold, ok freezing days here lately. This morning we decided to hit up the stores to run some errands. Well, turns out no one, I mean no one was out on the roads. In fact a bunch of stores closed because of the iced roads.
This is what we do when it's freezing outside.
One morning we were woken up by the boys saying that breakfast was ready. We came down & the table had a blanket over it. Gavin lifted the blanket with a huge TA-DA! It sure was thoughtful of him, but we saved these treats for after a more nutritious breakfast.

That FHE idea is awesome!! Once again, I need to copy you! No better way to have the boys remember than to act it out!
Gavin pulling the blanket off the "homemade" breakfast totally gives me the giggles! So cute.
Love love love your pillow case covers! Especially the red one. I was just debating on whether to make some new ones or just buy them. I'm tired of mine.
