Christmas Eve morning we went over to our cousins house so the boys could make sugar cookies. They had fun cutting, frosting & eating LOTS of cookies. We had to keep reminding them to save some to leave out for Santa. :)
That evening was the annual Shaw family party. I was in charge of bringing a dessert & found this idea on Pinterest. It turned out super cute!
Love this little family of mine. I am beyond grateful for them & happy to know I get them forever.
After a nice dinner we busted out some games, chimes & the gift exchange. Fun was definitely had by all. My parents actually joined us this year as they were in town. It was wonderful having both families together.
Doug & Liam playing the Cookie Face game.
My kids were the only toddlers there so they were busy helping everyone open their gifts.
Me & my Dad. I hate that this picture is blurry.
After everyone left & the boys got in their new Christmas jammies, Doug read the Christmas story from the scriptures. It's one of my favorite parts of the evening.
Nothing beats seeing a letter to Santa written in your child's handwriting. Melted my heart.
"The children were nestled all snug in their beds
while visions of sugarplums danced in their heads"....
