My good friend Holly from back home called me one day to ask exactly where I lived in Florida. When I told her Fort Lauderdale she got real excited. Her husband was traveling to Fort Lauderdale for his company Christmas party & work meetings. She was debating whether to join him, but once she realized I lived right there, there was no question about that. She was coming! Yay for visitors.
Holly & her new little baby boy Logan came to hang out with us at our place for the day & we had a fabulous time chatting away & catching up on the couch for a few hours.
How adorable is he? I could just snuggle on him all day. Love bald babies!
Holly's husband Brett had work during the day time so I was lucky enough to get her all day while she was here. One morning after dropping Gavin off to school, Liam & I headed to their resort to swim & soak up the sun. The hotel & resort was beautiful!
Check out that infinity pool. Pretty neat being in a pool & having a view of the ocean. It was a great morning.
That night was their work party so I got to babysit baby Logan. He was asleep when they dropped him off, but she anticipated him waking up to eat. I was excited to feed him & hold him. But that stinker slept the ENTIRE time he was at my house. I kept checking on him, but secretly I was hoping that one of the times I opened the door he'd wake up. :) Nope. So while he slept, I did this.
Can't beat some yummy hot chocolate & a good Christmas movie.
Saturday we all went to Dania Beach.
It was fun playing in the sand & in the water. It was a little too
chilly for my liking to be in the water, but the boys had fun.
Baby Logan loved it! He's officially a beach baby.
Liam is Mike Wazowski & Gavin is....no clue what he is. Haha!
I can't help but laugh when I see Gavin in those goggles. Haha!
Liam & Brett
Brett & Holly came over one night after another dinner & stayed late into the night chatting away with me. I really cherish those moments & conversation. It's like no time passes when you're with good friends. I'm so happy she decided to come to sunny Florida & spend some of her time with us.
