Wedding: Dave & Kimmi

We couldn't be more thrilled for Doug's brother Dave to marry Kimmi. It's sorta funny because I've known Kimmi like half of my life. She is best friends with my sister Laura. She & Dave started hanging out as just friends two years ago. And after a while they realized they had stronger feelings for one another & decided they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. Pretty cool if you ask me! I'm thrilled to be adding another sister-in-law to the Shaw mix too. :) They were sweet enough to work with Doug's summer break from school & chose to get married when we could be there to attend. It meant the world to us that they did that. We were so happy we could be a part of such a special day.

The day before the wedding Kimmi treated all of us ladies to a little pampering with pedicures & manicures. It was so fun & so relaxing! 

 Oh & Dave joined us in the fun. The groom needed happy feet as well. :)

 Even though I wasn't a bridesmaid, Kimmi made me feel very included & special. It meant a lot to me.

The afternoon of the wedding me, JoDee, Whitney & Laura went to Nordstrom to get our make up done at the MAC counter. It's sooo fun & sooo nice to not have to worry about doing it yourself. Especially with the ceremony being outside & how hot it is. We didn't want melting faces. Haha!

 I love our looks! I wish I had the talent to do this every day. Well, maybe not the falsies or dramatic eyeliner, but you know what I mean. I love Laura's red lips! I've always wanted to wear red lipstick, but I don't pull it off very well & I feel WAY out of my comfort zone. But she rocks it!

In the Bride's dressing room getting ready with all the ladies was really fun. The energy was high & the excitement was rising as the minutes passed.

 Yes a selfie. Loved my eye makeup! And Doug helped me pick out this necklace while shopping in Utah. It went perfect with my new dress.

And while we were having fun in the Brides room, the boys were having just as much fun in the Groom's room.

It was so freaking hot that day. I want to say it was around 104 degrees. So we all just hung out indoors until we were given the cue to go out into our places for the ceremony.

 Me & my date. Doug was a groomsman so Liam was my date for the ceremony. Cutest guy there!

The ceremony outside was beautiful even with the intense heat. It was fun watching everyone come down the aisle. But the cutest part for me was when Gavin & Bjorn came down arms linked, each carrying a ring box in hand. I didn't get a good shot from the front, but this back shot is pretty cute too.

 I didn't get anymore pics of the ceremony as I wanted to be in the moment & not just capturing it. It was lovely. Kimmi was one nervous bride though. I don't think I've ever seen someone shake so much. It was all the attention & spotlight on her that got her goin. :) They did it! They became Mr. & Mrs. David Shaw.

 

 Now we really are all sisters. In a long round about way. Haha!
