We have two sons, Gavin Douglas born September 18, 2009 & Liam Robert born October 14, 2011. We are so happy to be a family of four & love our boys so much! It is always one adventure after another in this house.

Gavin's Sleep Over

Uncle Danny & Aunt Whitney asked if they could have Gavin come spend the night at their apartment. My first response was, "Are you sure? He can be quite a handful!". But they insisted that he come & have a sleep over. You should have seen the look on Gavin's face when we told him he was going to have a sleep over with them. Pure glee is the only way to describe it. He couldn't stop talking about it & didn't hesitate one bit as he sent him off.

They took Gavin to the Aquarium earlier in the day & he had a blast. Which probably explains why he didn't hesitate to leave us that evening. Aunt Whitney & Uncle Danny were cool cats! He knew he was in for a good time.

He got to play all the Xbox that he wanted...but decided to take a break to help Aunt Whitney bake & frost sugar cookies.

I LOVE that they put him in a giant t shirt to stay clean! I don't know why, but I find it incredibly sweet, but I do.

I have a feeling he is saying, "CHEESE!" in this one. haha!

Having so much fun helping eating cookies with Whitney!

And then back again for some more games with Uncle Danny. I'm sure he's telling Danny what to do. Typical Gavin.

He got a cool & comfy bed made out of pillows & blankets & snuggled in for some stories before going to sleep.

These pictures are the best! Thank you Whitney for taking them & sharing them with us.

The next day was Sunday & Danny & Whitney are the Nursery leaders in their ward so they were excited that they got to take him to church & keep him a little longer.

It was great having a break from this high energy child of mine, but I did miss him. Especially seeing all these pictures. However, it made me so happy to see that he is SOOO loved by his aunt & uncle. It's a great feeling to know that your children are loved & taken care of by family.
