We have two sons, Gavin Douglas born September 18, 2009 & Liam Robert born October 14, 2011. We are so happy to be a family of four & love our boys so much! It is always one adventure after another in this house.

December Happenings

December is such a crazy & fun filled month in our house. Here are just some random pictures from the month.

One evening Laura & I had a Girls Night In watching Home Alone & munching on popcorn with m&ms. I just love watching Christmas shows & this is an all time favorite. Some of my other favorites are: White Christmas, Christmas Vacation, A Christmas Story, Elf, etc. Okay, okay, I love them all!

These boys sure LOVE bath time!

One afternoon we went to the Young At Art Museum. Gavin & Liam generally have the place all to themselves. They always have such a fun time running around & playing with everything. And I love that I can let them. It really is never crowded. Why don't we go all the time? Something we need to start doing more for sure.

Let me tell about the above creature. Gavin loves reading Little Critter books & the Christmas one has a picture of a toy store. On the shelf is a robot that has a 'pig-shaped' nose. Apparently, this is exactly what Gavin decided he wanted for Christmas. A pig robot! How in the world were we ever going to find such a toy. Well, they do exist....in China! So when we went to the museum, Doug had the genius idea to have Gavin make a pig robot. He loved it! He was so excited about it. However, every time we asked him afterwards what he wanted for Christmas, he quickly replied, "A PIG ROBOT!!!!" in a tone that was like 'you dummies, how many times to I have to say it'. **Sigh**

Our binki boy going hard core with not one, but two at a time. Go Liam!

This is just a cute little video of Liam babbling to himself. I didn't want him to know I was filming or else he would just stop & say, "Cheese!". Love my little man.

I love having my very own Mr. Fix It around. He put up the crowning on the top of the cabinets since our community wasn't coming any time soon to take care of it. We've only lived here for 8 months for cryin out loud. I really do love that Doug is able to take on any challenge & accomplish it wonderfully.

This big boy has taken up his naps again & I am in heaven having my afternoons to myself again.

A little brotherly wrestling match. Gavin better watch out because I'm pretty sure Liam is going to be bigger than him.

I really do enjoy watching Gavin & Liam play together. Liam copies everything Gavin does & thankfully, Gavin doesn't seem to mind. They play very well together & love to be outside.
It's crazy that this is in December no less. No cabin fever going on at our house this year. Wahoo!

Gavin finished up his 2nd session of swim lessons right before we left for Utah. He is quite the fish & loves his coaches. There is still lots of room for improvement, but all in all he is doing great!
