The Shaw Family

Doug & I were married on October 6, 2005 in the Salt Lake Temple. We are currently living in the Dallas, Texas area. We have two sons, Gavin Douglas born September 18, 2009 & Liam Robert born October 14, 2011. We are so happy to be a family of four & love our boys so much! It is always one adventure after another in this house.

First Day of School & Family Night

Doug started his orthodontic program on Monday July 1st. He has orientation for the first few weeks so he has to dress up nice everyday. And wearing a tie is mandatory. One guy actually got sent home because he wasn't wearing one. Kind of funny!

He does however get to wear those blue scrubs that he is holding for the next 30 months.

When dad got home we went for a family walk to the park. Gavin is getting real good at riding his tricycle. And Liam just loves his car.

 Playing on the slide

They were pretty squished in here, but it was really cute to watch them swing together.

And when we got home we enjoyed this tasty dessert.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake. It was delicious! And there were no eggs in this recipe either. Here is the link for anyone that wants to try it. The frosting was divine! http://www.melskitchencafe.com/2012/05/chocolate-peanut-butter-fun-cake.html

I had to include this picture of Liam. Earlier in the day I left him in the family room while I finished up something for like 10 minutes. It got really quiet so when I went back in this is how I found him. He has never fallen asleep like this while just hanging out. It was pretty cute.

That pic of Liam asleep is adorbs! :) Yes, I just said adorbs. Apparently, it's all the rage.... and I'm all about the rage.

Tyson's surgery was on his little boy parts. The whole was too small and he would squirt out like a firehose. If he didn't focus it would go everywhere and he couldn't poo and pee at the same time without getting everything wet. Yeah, we're glad we got it fixed. Roland was the doctor that Tyson peed all over. Kind of funny.
