Our Family

The Shaw Family

Doug & I were married on October 6, 2005 in the Salt Lake Temple. We are currently living in the Dallas, Texas area. We have two sons, Gavin Douglas born September 18, 2009 & Liam Robert born October 14, 2011. We are so happy to be a family of four & love our boys so much! It is always one adventure after another in this house.

More Utah Happenings

Here are just some of the other fun things that happened while we were home.

Just hanging out with family.

My sister Laura bought one of those mini pie makers. It was a lot of fun making & eating your own individual pie!

Gavin had so much fun playing at both of his grandparents homes. He would just get into pretty much anything he could & as long as it made you smile, then it was okay. :)

Doug's snowmobile helmet got left out & it quickly became a favorite of Gavin's. He loved wearing it all over the house.

We celebrated Danny's birthday!

Gavin was more than happy to help put the candles in the cake. And fingers too! :)

Gavin even helped blow out the candles. What would we do without Gavin around?! ;)

And apparently he wanted to blow them out again. As you can see he is telling Doug to re-light the candles.

A few other fun things we got to so while we were home, but that I didn't capture on camera were eating at Cafe Rio a number of times! Yum! Doug got to go snowmobiling & I got a pedicure. We were able to go to the movies quite a few times. We saw, Mission Impossible, War Horse, Chipmunks, and We Bought A Zoo. We attended a couple different holiday parties with friends. We were party animals let me tell ya! :)

We had such a great time in Utah being able to spend some good quality time with the people we love! It's hard to say goodbye when we leave. And now as I blog about it, looking at all these pictures, it makes me want to be close to family so badly. We have been blessed to make it back to Utah twice a year & for that we are so grateful!
