Bear Lake

It's been tradition to go up to Bear Lake with the Shaw family every summer. It is one that we always look forward to. We were really excited to have Gavin up there this year as he is so interested in everything & is at such a fun age right now. Sure enough the grass needed to be mowed when we arrived & Gavin was eager as can be to ride with Grandpa Shaw.

Gavin loved the beach! I think it helps that we have access to beaches here in Buffalo because he was not shy at all when we got there. The water level at Bear Lake is super high right now. Which is nice except that it means not a lot of beach to choose from. We did however snag a great spot every day that was right in reach of playing by the water.

Gavin has a new obsession.....SEA DOO's! This kid could ride all day long if we let him. He now associates G'pa Shaw with them & we never heard the end of "sea doo's" our entire time in Utah.

Our little family at Bear Lake West Beach. I have so many memories of this place with Doug even before we were married. I love being able to go up there & relax & enjoy some good family time.
