4th of July

The Fourth of July was a day full of fun celebrations. We started it off right with a Shaw Family Breakfast.

The food was delicious & it was so fun to see some of our aunts, uncles & cousins on the Shaw side.

After breakfast we headed up to the parade. Gavin loved riding in Grandma Shaw's wagon. He also loved all the candy he was getting so early in the day.

After the parade we headed over the carnival they had at the church. Gavin really wanted to ride the train so we plopped him in the fire engine & he was a content little boy for a very long time.

The evening was spent with my family at my parents home. We had a nice BBQ & the big hit was the ribs. Yum!

We had a lot of fun being outside & playing around. There was some pretty good competition when it came to the hand stand contest. However, Doug is the one the stuck it the longest & won!

Gavin loved playing with his cousins! Especially Logan. They have the cutest relationship & it is so fun to watch the interact with each other. Logan is so fun, cute & patient with Gavin.

Gavin of coarse loved having all this candy to eat. The suckers were the big hit!

We had a small firework show for the little kids before bedtime & Doug did quite a good job at lighting them & giving us a great show.

Later once it was dark we got crazy. ;) McKay & Carson helped Doug light the rest & we all 'oooed & aaaahhed' as the show continued.
