One of the many family traditions we have is to go sledding. There is this park nearby that has the biggest hill! Seriously standing at the top of it looking down is rather scary to think of yourself flying down on nothing but mere plastic or rubber. We always have a great time & it is something we all look forward to.
We had to go pick up the rubber tubes & boy was it a tight fit in the car with bodies & tubes! I just had to snap pictures of Hailey & McKay.

Poor thing couldn't see a thing with this big tube covering her.

And McKay was crammed like a preztel too! It didn't make it easier on them for the fact their siblings in the back seat found it entertaining to pound & drum on the tubes from the back seat. :) Silly kids!

The Daredevils McKay & Carson

Seriously check out that biff! They had a blast being all brave & daring.

As soon as Hailey would start down the hill she would immediately cover her eyes. Not because she was scared, but because she knew she would get snow on face & that she did not like.

I love this picture! Shows how intense this hill really was. And the little girls all bundled down on dad.

Uncle Doug showing Logan how to roll inside the tube.

Me & my brother Jason

The boys always have to attempt going down on the sled standing up. Carson actually went a really long ways, but I didn't get a picture. Here is Jason playing it safe. :)

I had a good few runs myself!

These two sisters are like peas in a pod. You never see one without the other!
We had such a great time that we went back again later in the week for more!

Buddies!
Doug's friend Josh brought his little boy Jaxson to join in the fun. This was also Gavin's first time sledding. The previous time he was with Grandma Shaw.

Don't mind Gavin's pink boots. We had to borrow his cousin Sophie's because he didn't have any. No worries, he is very secure with his manhood. :)

We figured out real quick that this was the way to tow the kiddos back up the hill. Anne towing Sophie in the back & Doug pulling Gavin. Man do kids have the sweet life!

Hyrum & his little snow bunny Sophie

Right before push off! I love how Jaxson takes 'say cheese' so literal. So cute!

Gavin didn't really show much expression about sledding. He never cried or refused to go down the hill, but we couldn't crack a smile out him the entire time. He must have just been taking it all in.

The gang!

And the best part....no one got seriously injured! Wahoo! A few sore bodies & bruises, but nothing major. I would say it was a successful couple days of some serious sledding!

That looks really fun. It's weird to realize that you live where it snows in Utah! haha... if that made sense. I wish I wasn't being such a baby about the snow this year. Next year maybe I'll be all about it! :)
