Labor Day this year wasn't quite as I had hoped. Doug had a big test the very next day so he spent most of the weekend studying. :( Boo! So when Monday rolled around Steph & I decided that we were still going to do something fun even if our husbands couldn't join us. So we loaded up the kiddos bright & early & headed off about an hour away to Brown's Berry Patch. I have never gone berry picking before but have always wanted to. So this was the perfect outing!

We started out picking raspberries. Gavin didn't really know what was going on. He pretty much either sat in the wagon eating crackers or was crawling around on the grass.
But once he saw what was in the basket he was very interested. He loved eating the raspberries!

We had such a fun time! I really want to go back in the early summer to pick strawberries. Yum! I have plans to make yummy things with our berries so we'll see when that happens.

So I seriously say this every time I comment... but your little guy and your hubby are TWINS! I have never seen anyone look more alike! So cute!! What a fun place to go... wish they had stuff like that here!
